Karlovy Vary is a city in the west of the Czech Republic in the region of the same name. The city, which bears the name of Emperor Charles IV, became especially famous as a health resort for the high nobility in the 18th and 19th centuries. Since 2021, the spa town has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the Historic Spa Towns of Europe.
Karlovy Vary is one of the most famous and traditional spa towns in the world.
The first mention of Carlsbad as a spa town dates back to 1522. Over the centuries, the city has remained popular. Celebrities who have visited the city and say they have taken it to their hearts include:
Mozart, Napoleon, Goethe, Freud, Beethoven & Marx.
Nowadays the City hosts the stars of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival every year. Dozens of films were taken here, including the Bond movie Casino Royale, The last Holiday. Of course we hope that many of you will fly in with your Cirrus. Personel of the Karlovy Vary Airport will guide you to your parking spot. During the event special security is there to guard all the airplanes.
There is just one Fee for your total stay (including the Landing/Handling Fee - 3 Overnight parking & passengers Fee and A Taxi to your Hotel and back to the Airport). Once you register via this Booking Form the airport will be notified about your arrival & departure. There is nothing you need to do in advance. Just File a flightplan:). (Additional info, VFR and IFR for your arrival & departure to Karlovy Vary Airport, LKKV, will follow after you register!)
A COPA representative will Register you for Arrival and hand out your Batch for the Event and you will receive 2 vouchers for your Taxi.
The 'Get Together 'Opening Party with food and drinks will be at Hotel Vítkova Hora, nearby the Airport, where you can enjoy a beautiful view to the City center of Karlovy Vary & the Hotel Imperial and the view to the Airport!
Book as early as you can! The extra reduced room rates are valid through 31-Jan-2024. Since the Migration is in the week of Ascension Day room rates will go up as we get closer to the event!
